3 There are many practical ways of improving the standards of cleanliness and, if care is exercised in the planning stage and good practice is followed, much will be achieved. comprehensive range of efficient equipment readily available but selection must take into account the capability and training of the staff from whom we expect so much. Let us not forget that common sense plays a vital role, at all levels, in any cleaning system and in this we expect to play our part. 3

4 The Servocare range falls into three principle parts being Mopping, Management and Movement systems and each of these parts needs full consideration and evaluation as part of any detailed cleaning and maintenance plan. Although, of necessity, more and more machines are being utilized it must also be appreciated that there is still a great deal more reliance worldwide on manual systems and technology but it is only by the meaningful integration of both that the best results will be achieved. good standards will only be achieved by good well trained staff, using good equipment and working to a sound common sense plan. Much of the shortfall in standards has come about by the total reliance on one technology or another whereas by adopting best practice concepts throughout, and a careful integration of thinking, much improvement can be achieved. Mopping Systems Mopping systems of one sort or another are positively the most extensively used form of floor maintenance worldwide and, as such, careful consideration should be given to the specification and selection of equipment. Much progress has been made in efficient and effective product designs, substantially improving usability and results, bringing with it cost effective answers to many of today s cleaning needs. Management The Servocare range of janitorial trolleys should be considered as a combination between mobile workstations and mobile management. In simple terms a Servocare trolley is designed to ensure that the full cleaning equipment and facilities are always to hand allowing a continual high level of operational performance and efficiency at all times. A full range of standard models provides for varying requirements, big or small rough or smooth, but the vast range of additional accessories allows individual systems to be tailored to suit almost any requirement. Careful consideration must be given to good product specification and selection at the onset in the full knowledge that:- if you take the time to get it right in the beginning you will certainly get it right at the end. Movement With almost every system be it hotel, hospital, office or leisure complex there is much to be moved and it is absolutely essential that movement of waste, laundry and linen for example is given adequate thought and consideration and integrated into the overall management plan. The collection and segregation of waste, the collection and treatment of laundry, the provision of linen - all of these requirements need to be addressed. The size of the project, the number of people, the time allowed and right down to the available storage space for equipment when not in use - nothing where at all possible, should be missed during the planning stage. Good staff, good planning and good equipment will genuinely bring good results that will earn the respect of employer, employee and public alike. 4

5 Spraymop SM40 * Without doubt one of the most useful floorcare damp mopping accessories for professional use. The Spraymop has a full 40cm (16 ) Microfibre mop head with its own integrated 400ml container that is operated by foot or hand in order to apply small amounts of water or cleaning solution to the floor as required in order to maintain the dampness of the mop. The standard cleaning head is manufactured from a fabric specially developed and woven to provide excellent dirt retention characteristics and is able to be washed quickly yet effectively, even by hand, but is also machine washable. By maintaining the dampness of the Microfibre with the spray system the collection and accumulation of dirt particles is substantially enhanced and will be effective even without the use of added chemicals and detergents. An alternative deep-clean Microfibre head is also available where surfaces are subject to greater soiling and spot and mark removal is a constant consideration. The universal stainless steel Z coupling between the aluminium mop stick and cleaning head provides full 360 articulation allowing varying movement techniques to suit different areas and applications. The mop head is easily removed and replaced due to the simple elasticated pocket system - no special fixing. 6 Spraymop Master SMM40 * There are an increasing number of applications for spot or maintenance mopping, dedicated to keeping a visually good appearance to floor surfaces in high profile environments. With the world comprising a vast collection of climates and floor surfaces, the Spraymop Master system has been developed to accept the complete range of pocket mops, providing a full choice to suit the majority of needs. A full range of Microfibre and loop designed pocket mops is available to suit varying applications in different environments, see page 21. Like Spraymop, the Spraymop Master starts with pre-wetting the clean mop before use and simply using the onboard liquid spray system to maintain the level of dampness needed for the specific application. Yes the professional Multimop is one of the simplest, most effective smaller area mopping systems you will ever use but, like all the best ideas, it is the totally thoughtful design concept that makes it so outstanding. 8 Hi-Bak HB1812 The 1812 represents a super compact, truly professional dual compartment mopping unit with our unique parabolic separator allowing a generous 18-litre front clean water container and 12- litre dirty water section to the rear. The 60%/40% split in container capacity is genuinely practical allowing larger areas to be cleaned before emptying and refilling is required. For smaller applications the separator may be reversed and the press placed in its lower mounting position resulting in a truly Xtra Compact system. In the event of a single 30-litre bucket requirement, the parabolic separator can be easily removed. The All-Mops Press is suitable for a whole range of Kentucky and Slalom- Flat mops providing excellent performance and results. 10 TwinMop TM2815 The Twinmop 2815 is a world first, being a complete compact dual bucket mopping system incorporating our large, oversize, clean water bucket, dirty water pail and using our patented AWS (Automatic Water Separation) system. 12 ServoMop SM2416 The Servomop model incorporates all the many advantages of AWS, Automatic Water Separation, but as a side-by-side system with access to both buckets. This design will appeal to those users who occasionally pre-wash mops in the dirty water pail to remove excessive dirt or contamination when considered necessary. The SM-2416 is a full two bucket system but you only work from one generous 24-litre bucket, with the second 16-litre pail collecting dirty water automatically. The SM-2416 model includes a useful small caddy for those essential cloths, sprays etc. Built to a full professional Structofoam specification, Servomop can be used with our full range of Monsoon-Kentucky or Slalom-Flat mops. 13 ServoTwin ST2416 The Servotwin model embodies two of the most advanced mopping features available, being both our unique patented AWS (Automatic Water Separation) system and twin foot and hand operation. The 2416 is a genuine two bucket system - but you only work from one generous 24- litre clean water bucket, with the second 16-litre pail simply collecting the dirty water automatically. It is not only brilliant - it is really so quick and easy to use, to fill and to empty. 19 The Unique AWS Automatic Water Separation System. A few simple, indisputable facts led us to design our patented AWS system:- (1) When mopping with any system you only pick up approximately 66% of the water you put down, put down 10 pick up 6! FACT! (2) By virtue of fact (1) above we designed our clean water bucket 50% larger at 24L than the dirty water container at 16L, bigger and easier to use and allowing coverage of up to 50% greater floor area from a single filling. (3) Our patented Automatic Water Separation system is so much quicker and more convenient to use, working from a single large bucket directly under the press, with the dirty water being automatically diverted into the dirty water pail ready for emptying. The AWS concept will be found in both the 2815 and 2416 models. 20 400g Kentucky Mop MS1 For the Kentucky mop user there is a simple choice between our traditional Monsoon loop and web mop and our recently introduced Bactiguard model. The standard Monsoon is a high performance specification with a blend of yarns providing well above average Bactiguard liquid absorption and exceptional durability. Where you will find us very different is in the Bactiguard mop specification offering our 400g loop and web Kentucky mop manufactured entirely from an anti-bactericidal yarn that will not support bacteria and can be washed again and again without loss of anti-bactericidal properties. Standard is just another major step in improving cleaning standards. The Numatic 40cm Spintec hang on Flat Mop System The exclusive Numatic Spintec system uses a simple, patented, hanging mop design which is easy to use and is self-tensioning in use, keeping an essential good tight fit between mop and mop holder and with an additional 33% more floor contact. When using the Spintec hang on system, mops remain hanging on the mop holder when being rinsed and pressed, followed by a simple spin opening action which is so much quicker and user friendly. Our Spintec hang on system is available in all 4 mop specifications: Loop, Microfibre Loop, Microfibre and Spintec System Microfibre Deep Clean. All models can be used with our Flat mop kits MS2 or MS3. Two standard Mop Kits are available, a three piece mop stick or single telescopic mop stick. MS2 The 40cm Pocket Mop System Many manufacturers of mops over the years have delivered pockettype mop systems to avoid the buckle system. It is indeed easier to use than the buckle design but with 33% less floor contact than our hang on types and unfortunately always needs to be removed, washed and pressed by hand during use. MS3 Spintec Telescopic System As a customer convenience we deliver all 4 Flat mops in pocket design and they can still be selected and used with our standard Flat mop kit, MS2 and MS3, if required. Ideal for use with the SMM40 Spraymop Master system. Two standard Mop Kits are available, a three piece mop stick or single telescopic mop stick. 20

The Spintec hang on style is growing rapidly in popularity due to its simple operation in use and has by design 33% more mop surface in contact with the floor. Spintec hang on and pocket mop styles are available in our 4 specifications to suit both systems. Spintec hang on Pocket Loop Pocket The Slalom 40cm Loop Mop A fast and controlled mopping system with good cleaning characteristics, dirt absorption and water retention. The fabric is specially woven to provide a high level of dirt retention characteristics as against dirt absorption and, as such, it will be effective even without the use of chemicals or detergents. The Slalom Microfibre 40cm Deep Clean Mop The Deep Clean Microfibre mop system will be appreciated in applications where heavy soiling and spot removal are commonplace. The unique cleaning action of the Deep Clean mop does result in more effort than standard Microfibre or combination loop and Microfibre mops and may not always be the desired option for large areas - ideal for spot cleaning. 21
