5 13 Proposals were awarded Catalyst Grant funding and started in September These projects will run through to April 2014 when they can submit proposals for Research Grant funding (up to 3million) The projects worked with industrial and academic partners in order to develop high quality research proposals. Given the global nature of the mineral supply chain the projects have secured international collaborations and some have secured additional funding from national agencies. The funded projects will be announced in January 2015
