7 Meaningful Use Meaningful Use or MU, is a series of measures that are considered to be important to improving patient care and outcomes Measures are primarily related to medical practices and hospitals MU has three stages

8 Meaningful Use Stages 2 and 3 begin increasing patient involvement and access to records Some dental specific measures in Stage 3 EHRs must evolve to meet the changing needs and stay certified
