2 Opening our doors to future talent We believe in the importance of investing time and resources in future talent, that is why every year, we welcome students in our offices. The year kicks off in January with the traditional province-wide Open House hosted by the A2C (Association of Creative Communications Agencies) with the participation of 33 agencies. In our Toronto office, and thanks to several agreements with major business schools in the Toronto area, we welcome every year groups of business students in our offices to immerse them in our media world for one day. Then follows the industry s next generation of Lion-winning superstars, invited to prove themselves at the Festival s Young Lions Competition. In the spring and fall, talented students are selected to take part in interships. They take part in our business reality and the creative opportunities it offers. Finally, to end the year with a bang and for the fourth consecutive year, we welcome 45 out-of-town students in our Montreal offices. Students are immersed in our daily work and get the chance to field questions to our dedicated experts. 2

3 Welcoming students for a day In collaboration with the A2C (Association of Creative Communications Agencies), every year we welcome a group of students in our offices for a day. The association has a membership of more than 70 corporate members, which account for more than 85% of the advertising revenues generated by Quebec s agencies. Staying on top of issues and trends facing the communication industry, the Association is committed to promoting, defending and representing the interests of its members, and providing today s decision-makers and tomorrow s professionals with tools with which they will meet the challenge of the evolving industry. One of our own leaders, Dominique Verdon, was also invited to introduce the event in the official video (side photo). 3

4 The 2015 Open Door edition was a hit! A record year was registered in 2015 during the 7th edition, with the participation of 33 agencies and over 600 students. Meeting with every team in the office, the students discovered the marketing and communication agency world under various angles. Also, a special contest was hosted on Facebook, inviting all participants to run for a chance to win a one-week intership in our offices. 4

5 Welcoming business students for the ultimate agency experience in our Toronto office Thanks to several agreements with major business schools in the Toronto area, we welcome every year groups of business students in our office to immerse them in our media world for one day. Through presentations, briefs and group workshops, the students gain valuable understanding on how our industry works and evolves. As with the Montreal office, all participants are offering a chance to participate in a unique contest, winning a oneweek intership in our offices. The participant s pictures are posted on our Facebook page and the student who garners the most likes is designated the winner. 5

6 And the Lion goes to To win at the Young Lions Competition, teams are challenged to complete a real-life brief from a global charity under a tight deadline and are then assessed by the same experts who sit on the Cannes Lions jury. 14 ambassadors represented our brands and network in the first round of the Cannes Young Lions competition for the 2015 edition. Divided into 7 teams, our young participants from Carat, Isobar and DentsuBos were tasked to craft and submit a creative advertising strategy or piece within 24 hours, last February. 6
