Although some students will secure an internship prior to their arrival in LA, many will interview in person in LA and secure the internship upon arrival. This is normal. The internship courses include both a work and academic component. More details about the academic requirements of the internship will be provided at orientation. Students enrolled in an LA Internship course (IN- 492 OR IN-497) earn a grade (A-F) just like in any other Berklee course.
