Two IESE Faculty members sit in the SBS Advisory Board. Plus specific follow up meetings. 13 INSTITUT DE HAUTES ÉTUDES, Abidjan (Ivory Coast) HOW DO WE COOPERATE WITH THEM NOW? several seminars taught professors ( ) by IESE planning to launch the first AMP-like (Programme de Perfectionnement de Dirigeants): taught in French - partially taught by IESE professors, including one full week in Barcelona (20 sessions)

14 NILE UNIVERSITY, Cairo (Egypt) HOW DO WE COOPERATE WITH THEM NOW? Alliance between IESE and Nile University from under the agreement, in addition to offering executive programs, IESE advises on the institutional development of the business school, help in the design of the academic curricula for the Executive MBA, and provide Ph.D. fellowships for faculty development in Barcelona and Cairo. Programs offered in collaboration with IESE: Executive MBA (launched in 2005) Executive Development Program (EDP) - mainly taught by IESE professors (70% of the faculty)

16 THE AFRICA INITIATIVE AT IESE In September 2009, the Board of Directors of IESE have decided to take one further step towards the further involvement in Africa, by formally launching The IESE African Initiative. Its objectives are: - to provide updated information about all IESE activities related to Africa, and help coordinate different initiatives developed by IESE divisions; - to help develop new projects, programs and schools in collaboration with the local academic community; - to support social initiatives for Africa at IESE (e.g. Kimlea, an educational project of the Nurisha Trust of the Kianda Foundation in Kenya, Hospital in Enugu - Nigeria)
