Oversee the Testing Center and the administration of classroom accommodations for students. Provide consultation and training to faculty and staff on classroom accommodations. Initiate disability awareness activities on campus. Assist families of students with information as indicated regarding disability services. Lead administrative groups as needed to address disability services on campus and in the community. Community outreach regarding people with disabilities, training throughout the State, community organization, consultation on the use of Social Security Programs, advocacy for persons with disabilities. Developed and organized in-state task force dealing with victims of crime with disability. Supervision of doctoral student during research practicum. Participated in research including use of focus groups, research groups, analysis of results in the area of alternative living for children with disabilities, eating behaviors, fibromyalgia, crime victims with disability and early childhood services. Program evaluation for several programs for persons with disability. Center for Social Work Research Research Assistant January 1996 May 1996 Description: Assigned to the Southeast Austin Youth Development Project to assist with community organization regarding juvenile crime reduction in this area of Austin. Community proposal drafted to obtain funding from the Dept. of Public and Regulatory Services for program development to assist with juvenile delinquency issues.

Duties included field supervision, methods classroom teaching, administrative duties, clinical practice, in-service training for juvenile probation officers, and guest lectures for several social work classes. SHOAL CREEK HOSPITAL: Director Of Social Services October 1988-November 1992 Description: Responsibilities included administrative duties/supervision of all social service functions for a psychiatric in-patient and partial hospital setting in a facility licensed for 237 patients. Served on Allied Health Committee, Patient Care Services Committee, Utilization Review and Referral Development. Assure quality of Social Services and provide on going in services and education to Social Work staff under my supervision. Participation in citywide social service directors committee. Clinical service delivery as needed in addition to administration of the Structured Clinical Interview for Dissociative Disorders (SCID-D). Director Child/Adolescent Partial Hospital June Description: Served in this capacity in addition to the previous position during this time period. Total responsibility for development of the program, staff supervision, marketing, delivery of services to patients and families, quality assurance, and survey preparedness. Also assisted other hospital programs in survey preparedness including standard review and development of policies and procedures for JCAHO for partial hospitals. Program Director Acute/Picu Units Description: Responsibilities included supervision of all therapies on a 40-bed adult unit. Direct supervision of Masters level program counselors. Administrative responsibilities including marketing, budget planning, and program planning. Developed suicide assessment procedure. Served on Utilization Review, Referral Development, and Program Committees. Director Of Admissions Description: Designed, implemented, and directed clinical intake system. Supervised clinical staff, admissions clerks, and switchboard operators. Initiated Marketing Information System. Developed outpatient registration system. LONGHORN RANCH: Regional Director Description: Chief Executive Officer for (2) 15-bed ICF-MRI facilities housing moderately retarded clients. General administrative/clinical/supervisory responsibilities. Fiscal/budgetary planning. Basic accounting. Social Worker for both facilities.
