1 Course Description List Arc Flash This course is used to raise awareness about the specific electrical hazards of an arc flash. This course will also introduce a new CSA Standard on workplace electrical safety, and introduce some of the safe work practices related to arc flash hazards. Aerial Lifts This course discusses safe work practices and procedures when working with or around aerial lifts. Air Jacks and Shoring This Air Jacks and Shoring course is designed to give you the procedures and hazards of Air Jacks and Shoring and how to keep yourself safe when working in or near this type of operation. Chainsaw Training The objective of this training is to develop competent chainsaw operators, who will understand the hazards associated with chainsaw operations, maintenance, refueling and safety precautions. Chemical Biological Hazards and Harmful Substances A modular set of courses to help you with chemical biological hazards and harmful substances training. City Of Calgary Environmental Policy The purpose of this course is to inform your company of your environmental responsibilities as a contractor for The City of Calgary. This course includes environmental responsibilities information for contractors working with The City of Calgary, The City of Calgary's Environmental Policy and Contractor environmental acknowledgement form. Commercial Carrier Program This program discusses the conduct of drivers and passengers who are to uphold the regulations by operating vehicles in a safe professional manner. This

Confined Space Program This course is designed to teach your staff on your company s confined space program. This course can be customized to fit you company s specific Defensive Driver Course This course is designed to teach your staff on your company s Defensive Driving Program. This course can be customized to fit you company s specific Drug and Alcohol A modular set of courses to help you with drug and alcohol training. Emergency Preparedness This course is designed to teach your employee on the company Emergency Preparedness program. Ergonomics (course provided by AMTA (Alberta Motor Transportation Association)) The objective of this course is to teach students the scope of ergonomics, defining musculoskeletal injuries (MSI), and basic principles and guidelines relevant to multiple industries. This course focuses on key factors of risk for MSI s and how to reduce them. Cost: $ 40 + GST Members / $ 50 + GST Non members per student, per course. Does not include the source files. Set Manhole and Pipe Installation Communications between workers when setting manholes and pipes is a crucial practice during this procedure. This training program will examine the safe procedures for setting and pipe installation. Spill Response This is a basic Spill Response Course. The course can be customized to include any current spill response equipment currently in the company inventory. Sub-Contractor Orientation A jobsite manager must ensure any new worker is well orientated. Work sites are filled with potential hazards and keeping the project safety depends on keeping everyone informed and aware. New workers or subcontractors don t automatically know what to do on a new jobsite and this is where the Sub-Contractor Orientation Course can assist. Even if they are skilled and well trained, they cannot know the particular hazards and problems of a new worksite. Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) This course covers Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) products, i.e. goods sent/received via mail and courier services, and the preparation of hazardous waste chemicals for disposal. This course focuses primarily on the ground transportation and TDG Clear Language Regulations. Trenching, Open Cut This Trenching course is design to give you the basics of what Trenching Open Cut is and how to keep yourself safe when working in or near this type of operation.
