2 GUEST STUDENT GRADUATE CREDIT REGISTRATION HOW TO APPLY AND ENROLL AS A GRADUATE GUEST STUDENT, TRANSFERRING CREDITS TO A UNIVERSITY WHERE YOU ARE CURRENTLY ENROLLED If you are a student in a graduate program at another university and wish to take a course(s) at OU to be transferred back to your home institution, you should apply for guest student admission. Students should consult their advisors at their home institutions regarding the ability to transfer specific credits to their programs. Please follow the steps below to apply as a Regular Guest Student or MIGS Guest Student and to register. There is no application fee. To apply as a Regular Guest Student, (Institution where you are currently enrolled is not listed at complete the paper graduate application form. STEP 1: Complete the attached Graduate Admission Application STEP 2: Include an official or unofficial transcript specifying your baccalaureate degree. STEP 3: Complete and sign the paper registration form for this course. STEP 4: Return the registration form, application and transcript by fax (248) or by mail to Professional Development. To apply as a Michigan Intercollegiate Graduate Studies (MIGS) Guest Student, Michigan Intercollegiate Graduate Studies (MIGS) Applicants admitted to degree programs at one of the Michigan institutions listed at and wishing to take courses at Oakland University for purposes of credit transfer should download a Michigan Intercollegiate Graduate Studies (MIGS) program guide (Adobe Acrobat required).
