The consultants have more than 15 years of professional experience acquired in Italy, Germany, Greece and Cyprus in several branches in the field of environmental and analytical chemistry, environmental microbiology and geology and of applied hydrogeology. ECORISK offers a whole service to the solution of the problems of contamination of soil and water included the characterization and remediation of contaminated sites, human health and environmental risk assessment of chemicals, characterization and disposal of wastes. Furthermore gives a technical support for environmental forensics in trials.

Our customers are: Chemical and ceramic industries Geotechnical engineers Real estate Waste disposers and multi-utility Insurances Law firms THE SERVICES ECORISK offers fast and cheap solutions for environmental problems in the following fields: CHARACTETIZATION OF CONTAMINATED SITES The services offered from ECORISK according to the italian Decree 152/2006 and further modifications include: Historical desk studies for contaminated sites Characterization of industri sites, dismantled or in activity and gas stations Accrediated sampling according to DIN EN ISO/IEC of environmental matrices: soil, groundwater and wastes Evaluation and e interpretation of data from chemical analyses performed in cooperation with accredited laboratories according to EN ISO/IEC and certified ISO:9001 and ISO Discussion of the data with local authorities Microbiological characterization of contaminated sites Evaluation of the microbial activity of contaminated soils and groundwater using software for phylogenetic analysis Use of environmental biology tools and bioinformatics for the evaluation of the affiliation of the autochthonous microbial species to pollution degrading bacteria

Flow simulations of chemical substances in unsaturated soils RISK AND ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT OF CHEMICALS Risk Assessment is nowadays the most advanced tool to support all the decisions in contaminated land management, which allows to evalutate quantitatively the risks for human health due to the presence of pollutants in environmental matricesi. ECORISK, through its expereience offers: Human health and environmental Risk Assessment in brownfields and contaminated sites sccording to italian Decree 152/06 with the software RISC and RBCA Toolkit Evaluation of Site Specific Target Levels according to Italian Decree 152/2006

REMEDIATION In the field of Brownfield Remediation the services offered from ECORISK attain mainly to design, monitoring and evalutation of reclamation efficacy. In particular we do: Gas station reclamation Reclamation of UST in industrial and residential sites Groundwater remediation (heavy metals, Hydrocarbons, CVOCs, etc.) Monitoring of natural attenuation also with the aid of modelling software for the assessment of its effectiveness Feasibility studies for bioremediation (in-situ and on site) Remediation design in soils and water with methods such as Bioventing, Air Sparging, Enhanced Aerobic and Anaerobic Bioremediation Reclamation of sites used for illegal disposal of industrial wastes (both solids and sludges) Coloperation with national and international companies holding the most important certification for remediation and waste disposal (ISO 14001, EN ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001).

INDUSTRIAL AND URBAN WASTES ECORISK has a yearly experience in the field of industrial wastes. I services offered are: Chemical analyses in cooperation with accredited laboratories Assessmen of waste azard and classification according to EWC Consulting for their disposal Qualified samping in sites contaminated from wastes or from waste heaps and containers according to the german protocol LAGA PN98 or according to the italian Decree for their disposal in qualified plants in Germany or in other European countries Human healt and groundwater Risk Assessment due to the leachate in closed landfills with software LandSim 2.5
