3 Data Center Program Overview Similar to custom program - incentive calculated by measuring your data center upgrade s energy efficiency premium: Incentive rate structure: Pre-installation kwh usage Post-installation kwh usage Incentive Rate Cash Incentive $0.07/kWh $0.06/kWh for Virtualization - partitioning of a physical server (via software application) into smaller virtual servers to help maximize resources Large Projects: After $120,000 in incentives is reached, payout is 50% of incentive rate

6 Application Process Complete the AEP Ohio Data Center Application All projects completed in last 6 months or within calendar year are eligible Willdan will assist with application and energy savings estimates Submit Final Application post install Energy savings verified through site visit* *not required for small server rooms and closets (<1,000 ft 2 ) Incentive processed and delivered to customer (or applicant) Measurement and Verification (M&V) may be required

14 Questions to Ask Customers Do you have a dedicated server or IT room? If yes then: What is size (ft 2 ) or IT Load (kw)? Have you recently, or are you considering new or upgraded air conditioning? VFDs? Have you recently, or are you considering new or upgraded UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) units? Have you recently, or are you considering server changes such as refresh, consolidation, or virtualization?
