8 PREPOSITION OF TIME in si usa per un periodo di tempo purchè non sia un giorno specifico es. in June, in the afternoon, in summer; on si usa per giorni specifici es. on Monday, on the 2nd July, on Boxing Day; at si usa o per l ora o per periodi festivi es. at 2 o clock, at Christmas.

25 HOW MUCH? HOW MANY? How many? Quanti/e? Questa espressione é sempre usata, quando qualcuno vuole domandare una quantità che può essere rappresentata con un numero (1, 2, 3, ecc...). How many oranges are there?quante arance ci sono qui? How many windows are there?quante finestre ci sono qui?

26 How much? Quanto? Questa domanda é sempre usata, quando la quantità non può essere misurata esattamente o rappresentata tramite un numero.
