2 Championed university s first implementation of Kaizen event to redesign academic scheduling process, reducing the process from 137 days, 50 tasks, 18 waits, and 21 handoffs to 53 days, 24 tasks, 5 waits, and 13 handoffs; Championed and provided leadership to strategic information development, data integrity, and information access; Actively participated in shared governance, including formal meet and confer and informal consultation; Partnered with Faculty Association leadership to effectively eliminate a two-year backlog in policy and procedure development and revision; Provided leadership and support to institutional and academic affairs planning processes, assessment of student learning outcomes, and policy and procedure development; Created Graduate Studies Office and developed infrastructure to support growth for current and new graduate programs and developed shared facultyadministrative governance structure for graduate programs; and Initiated university s first Internet marketing campaign for graduate and online programs. Selected accomplishments: Created Center for Online Learning, a new department within Academic Affairs; Institutionalized online learning as integral component of university s educational culture and offerings; Led three successful accreditation change requests, including 2006 request for across-the-board authorization for online programs; Developed and delivered training for faculty engaged in online and hybrid learning; Oversaw enrollment growth in online courses of 240% from FY03 through FY07, producing approximately $2 million in tuition differential revenue in that time; and Developed Course Site-Readiness Rubric to ensure quality instructional design and course development. 2
