4 Edit / Preferences / Perfrmance - change the number f Histry steps that are saved Image Size

5 Resampling OFF means that any change in size will keep the same number f pixels fr the pht, BUT the pixels will lk bigger r smaller. - Scale Styles gverns shadws, lighting, highlights, etc. and re-sizes when yu resize the image - Cnstrain Prprtins keep the same aspect rati f the image - use Resampling t stretch image and create mre pixels but will blur image. On screen, cmputer mnitr image: 72 pixels / inch Print n Inkjet: High reslutin print: 150 pixels / inch (draft quality) 300 pixels / inch IslandGirl image editing - in Histry panel click n camera icn t create a secnd Snapsht f the image Camera buttn n Histry panel creates a Snapsht f the image, basically a cpy f the image.

7 Mving cursr int any selectin, clicking, will mve the selectin area - ONLY exceptin is the BRUSH tl SHIFT key adds area t a selectin OPTION key (ALT n PC) subtracts frm a selectin ] makes Brush (selectin tl) Larger [ makes Selectin tl Smaller Refine Edge - View n different backgrunds - Smth eliminates jagged edge - Feather gives image a hal lk - Shift Edge mves the selectin clser r further frm the image - Click Shw Original t view hw the image has changed - T SAVE the changes click in OUTPUT Dialg Area, drp dwn, SELECT SELECTION Other ptins include New Mask, - Edge Selectin t refine edges f hair, whiskers, etc. - Smart Radius then mve tl arund where edges f fur are t add in the hair, fur and whiskers. - Click Shw Radius try t keep Radius as small as pssible New File - Make new layer (pst-it icn at bttm f layer panel) - Edit / Fill / drpdwn Fregrund Clr - Or use Paint bucket t fill the image (under Gradient tl) UNCHECK - Aut Select which will select the layer which Phtshp thinks yu want - Shw Transfrm Cntrls ONLY necessary when using a Transfrm tl Otherwise will prevent creatr frm using a secnd tl until a transfrm is checked / cnfirmed r cancelled. Eyeball Shw r Hide a Layer - Alt + Eyeball will Hide everything else Opacity enables yu t see thrugh the layer Ctrl-Click n the ICON f the Layer, selects items in the layer
