2 Students entering Temple under the terms of this agreement must meet all regular Temple admissions requiremene and all applicable Temple requirements and deadlines pertaining to application for admission and payment of tuition and fees. Evaluation of transfer credits is based on a student's maior, and the student's Temple school/college makes the final determination of which transfer credits are applicable to the studenfs degree program. Transfer evaluations may change for students who change maiors. Whenever possible, credit is allowed for courses completed more than 10 years before the date of admission. Because lhe Delaware County Community College Associate in Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education covered by this program-to-program articulation agreement is also approved for GenEd-to-GenEd Transfer to Temple, sludents under this program agreement satisfy Temple General Education (GenEd) requirements according to the terms of the Delaware County Community College -Temple GenEd-to- GenEd Transfer agreemenl. Their GenEd requirements are met by receipt of lhe Delaware County Community College A.A. degree. Developmental courses and courses forwhich a grade below C was received do not transfer to Temple, but having taken such couees or received such grades does not affect an otherwise eligible students GenEd-tecenEd Transfer status.

3 JONT RESPONSBLTES FOR MANTENANCE OF THS AGREEMENT Delaware County Community College will maintain and distribute informalion about the curent form of this agreement, and any changes relevant to it, to students, counselors, faculty and advisors. T mple Univ-ersity's College of Education will keep appropriate Temple offices and staff (including the Office of the Senior Vice Provost for Undergraduate Studies and the Admission's oftice) informed;f this a6reement and any modifications thereto, and will be responsible for distributing information conceming any chaiges. Both institutions will encourage Delaware County Community College students to meet with representalives of Temple University to discuss issues related to admissions and financial aid well in advance of iheir expecled date of entry. Faculty from each institution teaching in the curriculum for which this agreement has been developed will be encouraged to meet at least once annually to discuss issues of cuniculum and student development. Temple University and Delaware county Community College will collaborate when possible on research aciivities that will help assess the effecliveness of this transfer program in meeting ihe needs of students transfening from Delaware County Community College to Temple University. - REVSON. RENEWALAND TERMNATON OF THS AGREEMENT The Temple.University College of Education and the Transfer Office at Delaware County Community College are responsible for identifying, and communicating to each other, changes in their respective courses, requirements, or policies that affect this agreement. This agreement will be in effect as of the Fall 2013 Semester, and will be reviewed biannually by The Temple university college of Education and rransfer office at Delaware county community college, a;d will automatically be renewed until superseded by a new agreement or formally terminated. R;visions in the course equiv lency lists may be made with the verbal consent of the repr*entatives of the two schools; major revisions to this agreement require their signatures on a letter of agreement or a revised version of the agreement. All revisions, however, require that documentation is sent and approved by the Office of the Senior Mce Provost for Undergraduate Studies at Temple University to ensure that uidates aie made to ttre appropriate systems in order to efiectively implement this agreement. Either i;stitution may terminate this agreement at any time by written notice at least one year in advance of the effective date of termination. Should this agreement be terminated, it is understood that the termination will not apply to students already accepted to Temple University under the terms of this agreement, but not yet enrolliil in classes at Templ6. Delawere County Community College and Temple University understand that they shall act in an independent capacity in the performance ofthis agreement, and shall not be considered as employees, agents, afiiliates, or subsidiaries of each other. Neither T mple nor Delaware County Community Conbg6 have t-he rig'nt to bind or obligate one another in any manner inconsistent with or unrelated to this agrlemenl. This agreeient is govemed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Students should work with their DCCC advisor to select courses to fumlllhe Delaware degree requiremenls. DARS EXCEPTONS TO BE ENTERED BY TEMPLE ACADEMC ADVSOR Undergraduate studenls and their advisors use the Degree Audit Reporting System to plan and track a student's acadsmic career at Temple. DARS works in concert with our Banner Studenl information system lo show how a studenl's course work to date, including transferred courses, willfuffillthe academic requirements necessary to complete a degree in the major lield of study For the DARS exceptions to be processed, students should bring a copy of the artjculation agreement and a copy of their final DCCC transcript to their lirsi advising appointment with their Temple Academic Advisor. The final transcript must show the degree awarded and a confenal date.
