The one- time cost to set up the subscription is covered by this funding opportunity in Year 1, so a school would not have to incur that cost should they continue with the software subscription after the three year funding period ends. Professional development is a variable cost that depends on whether new teachers are hired who have not completed the Success with the Presidential Youth Fitness Program virtual training package or completed the PYFP in- person training. A school could choose to pay roughly $70 to purchase a virtual course for a teacher to stay up to date or enhance knowledge in a particular area addressed through the Presidential Youth Fitness Program. Awards will remain approximately the same from year to year unless a school chooses to purchase one of the other award options (a digital badge, medal, t- shirt, etc.). *Please note, all prices are subject to change.
