4 Department of Biology, Agriculture and Food Sciences Department mission The mission of the Department of Biology, Agriculture and Food Sciences (DiSBA) is to promote scientific and technological knowledge for the development and valorisation of a sustainable and innovative agri-food system, thereby contributing to the global grand challenge of "doubling agri-food production halving resource use".
