College of Engineering & Technology (RNCET) - A unit of P.K.G. Eligibility for Direct Admission in B. Tech (2 nd Year) through (LEET) 1. Obtained at least 45% marks in aggregate in Diploma in Engineering / Technology of a duration of 3 years or more from Haryana State Board of Technical Education (HSBTE) or its equivalent. 2. Passed B. Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks and passed Class 12 th with Mathematics as a subject. In case of students belonging to B. Sc. Stream, provided that; a. The students shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics / Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year engineering programme along with the second year subjects. b. The candidate shall be considered only after filling up of the supernumerary seats in this category with students belonging to the Diploma stream. 3. The students, who have passed; a. Diploma in Engineering & Technology from an AICTE approved Institute or B. Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, shall also be eligible for admission to the

9 first year Engineering Degree courses subjected to vacancies in the first year in case the vacancies at Lateral Entry (LEET) category are exhausted. However the admissions shall be based strictly on the eligibility criteria as mentioned above. 4. As per AICTE - norms seats in Lateral Entry may be taken up to a maximum of 20% of sanctioned intake capacity. Scholarships & Academic Awards: PKGGIs initiatives for the Meritorious Students based on the Academic Performance in Class 12 th or JEE Ranking is as follows; For Sound Academicians: 1. On the Basis of JEE Rank: JEE Rank Tuition Fee s Exemption Upto 50, % 50,000 to 70,000 50% 2. 18 1. Chhajpur Campus: The Chhajpur is located in serene environment of Panipat, (Haryana). The campus consists of M D College of Polytechnic (MDCP) offers 03 years Polytechnic - Diploma (Engineering) in CSE, ME, ECE, Civil and Electrical branch. Institute has now introduced two new branches of Diploma i.e., Automobile Engineering and Fashion Designing.
