1 Patrick Dangla Researcher in Civil Engineering 2 allée Kepler F Marne-la-Vallée Patrick.Dangla@ifsttar.fr navier.enpc.fr/dangla-patrick Université Paris-Est Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, IFSTTAR, CNRS Research Interest I am interested in the modeling of various aspects of mechanical and physicochemical behavior of heterogeneous porous materials. From a fondamental aspect I use the thermodynamics of continuous media to model the constitutive behavior of porous materials. I implement these models in a numerical code that I have developed for many years. I use this code to simulate some experiments involving transfers of matter, chemistry and mechanics. These simulations serve to interpret the experiments or predict the long-term behavior of existing or new materials Present Areas of expertise Physicochemical couplings in porous media Poromechanics of geomaterials Unsaturated soils Material durability Thermodynamic approach to constitutive modeling of porous materials Numerical modeling Software development Professional Path Research scientist, Laboratoire Navier, IFSTTAR, Marne-la-Vallée Head of group "Physics and Mechanics of Porous Media", Laboratoire Navier, LCPC, Marne-la-Vallée Research Project Manager, LMSGC, LCPC, Paris Head of group "Mechanical Modeling" in the department "Engineering Modeling", LCPC, Paris Research scientist, LCPC, Paris PhD student, Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, Paris.
