3 Academy Networking Industrial Fair CONGRESS Under the slogan Modern healthcare with IT experts will be reporting every morning on innovations and trends in the Healthcare IT sector. The reports will be spread over a total of 18 sessions. Visitors can look forward to a high-class, diversified programme, planned by representatives of major target groups with the information and training needs of the healthcare IT industry strongly in mind. Simultaneous interpreting in German and English will be provided for all the papers. ACADEMY The four seminars at the conhit Academy will consider selected healthcare IT issues in detail. 9 07 May Academy Hands-on development of apps for healthcare Establishing and marketing the added value of IT in hospitals This seminar will provide practical insights into programming apps for ios and platform-independent apps based on HTML5. The introduction covers potential fields of application, available technical platforms and technologies and their capabilities and limitations, followed by a synopsis of legal requirements relating to data protection and IT security when using mobile devices and apps. Practice session 1 will deal with the development of mobile apps for Apple ios. Participants who have a Macbook with an Xcode programming environment installed on it will be able to actively follow the programming procedure. In practice session 2, HTML5, CSS and possible jquery will be used to prepare a web page which reacts to both mobile and desktop layouts. Participants will need a laptop or Macbook with an up-to-date browser and activated JavaScript as well as a code editor such as Notepad++ or TextWrangler. Hardware and software are not provided, participants must bring their own. Optimal integration of IT into corporate structures (so-called business-it alignment ) is becoming increasingly important in the hospital sector. In this seminar three experts will give an introduction to the subject of added value created by IT in hospitals and discuss the main areas from various angles: How does IT contribute to corporate success and how can this contribution be measured? How does IT communicate with executive management and with the individual departments? How can cooperation be improved? How can IT meet the requirements of ever-increasing complexity in spite of staff shortages and limited budgets, as well as communicate these to others and receive adequate appreciation?
