COURSE START ARRIVAL Time and Date: 12:00 noon on January 22, To ensure that you arrive on time, we strongy recommend that you arrive the day before course. Deays and canceations of fights into Barioche are common. Location: San Caros de Barioche Internationa Airport (BRC), Ruta 237 S/N, 8400 San Caros Barioche, Rio Negro Argentina. An Outward Bound staff representative wi meet you in the obby near the coffee shop. This is our ony pick-up ocation/time. Look for Outward Bound staff wearing a shirt or hat with an Outward Bound ogo and/or carrying an Outward Bound sign. This staff person wi have a ist of a course participants. Airine Arriva: If you choose not to arrive the day before course starts book your inbound fight to arrive no ater than 12:00 noon. Do not book arriva after 12:00 noon as we are unabe to accommodate arrivas after this time. Itineraries booked with an arriva time ater than 12:00 noon wi require re-booking which can be costy and avoidabe. IMPORTANT COURSE START ARRIVAL INFORMATION There are two airports in Buenos Aires, Argentina used by the major airines incuding LAN and Aeroineas Argentina that wi be part of your itinerary: Ezeiza Ministro Pistarini Internationa Airport (EZE) is the internationa airport. Jorge Newbery Aeropark (AEP) is a domestic airport. You wi need to arrange ground transportation from EZE to AEP to board your fight to Barioche. Traffic, construction, weather and the amount of time it takes to caim baggage, cear customs, cross the city to AEP, check in and go through security again shoud be factored into your itinerary. Make sure that your itinerary aows for 5 hours ayover between your arriva at EZE and your departure from AEP to account for a the things that can go sideways whie traveing internationay. 2 INTERPHASE TRAVEL DETAILS February 13, San Caros de Barioche, Argentina to Miami, FL: You are responsibe for purchasing a ticket from San Caros de Barioche, Argentina (BRC) to Miami, FL (MIA) to begin Phase II of the course. This ticket must be purchased prior to your course start. North Caroina Outward Bound requires you to be booked on the foowing fights departing on February 13, 2016: San Caros de Barioche, Argentina to Buenos Aires, Argentina TO BE DETERMINED Buenos Aires, Argentina to Miami, FL TO BE DETERMINED North Caroina Outward Bound wi arrange for transportation between the Jorge Newbery Airfied (AEP) domestic airport and Ezeiza Ministro Pistarini Internationa Airport (EZE) for the fight to San Caros de Barioche. March 3, Miami, FL to Ashevie, NC: North Caroina Outward Bound wi provide transportation from Miami, FL to Ashevie, NC for Phase III. RECIPROCITY (ENTRY) FEE A U.S., Canadian and Austraian citizens MUST pay the Reciprocity Fee (entry fee) of $160 via a credit card through an onine system BEFORE ARRIVING in Argentina. Payment must be made onine using the Provincia Payment System. To pay the Reciprocity Fee foow the directions outined beow: Enter the website and register to start the process. Compete the form with the corresponding persona and credit card information. Print the payment receipt and store inside your passport Note: If you need to renew your passport before course start, make sure your renewa process is compete BEFORE paying this Reciprocity Fee. Upon arriva in Argentina, your printed receipt must be presented to Immigration Contro. The receipt wi be scanned by the Immigration officias, the information wi be confirmed and your entry into the country registered. 3 Airine Departure: Do not book departure before 2:00 PM. Students wi arrive at the airport by 12:45 PM in order to give adequate time to check-in, cear security and say farewe to their crewmates. We are unabe to accommodate earier departures. Vehice Departure 12:45 PM: The pick-up/vehice departure time is 12:45 PM on the ast day of the course. TRAVEL DELAYS If you are unabe to arrive to the course start on time, we advise that you arrive a day eary. We work diigenty to accommodate unforeseen trave deays as they occur. However, in certain cases of extreme deays, it may not be possibe for you to join the course ate. If you are deayed en route to your course, ca us immediatey at CELL PHONES Traveing to and from your course with a ce phone and a charger is encouraged. Once you arrive at the airport and meet our staff, you wi be reminded to ca your famiy to et them know you have arrived to Outward Bound successfuy. Ce phones are not permitted once you are on course, however you wi have access to your ce phone during trave days. ESSENTIAL CARRY-ON ITEMS We advise that you pack a essentias from the Cothing and Gear ist in a carry-on bag in case your uggage is ost or deayed. Be carefu with your carry-on bag whie traveing to avoid your bag being ost or stoen. We suggest using a money bet or traveer s neck pouch for passports, cash, credit cards and airine tickets. 2

This incudes paying for any outside assistance that may be used during an evacuation. Pease be certain to bring your insurance card on course with you and submit a copy (front and back) of the card when you send in your required forms.
