2 Hi, itʼs Lisa. I want to say how totally excited I am to have you with me. I know your time is valuable and I promise to deliver tips that you can begin using right away. My List Building Empire will give you some tips and strategies that are extremely powerful and will help you begin building or increasing your list right away. Let me give you just a little bit of background so you understand why Iʼm so passionate about helping your build your own list. When I launched one of my new business endeavors a few years ago I received a wonderful opportunity. I was featured on Yahoo! I knew that the publicity would be good but I had absolutely no idea how good. At the time I was writing my first book and I wanted to get it completed. Due to the timing of the opportunity there was absolutely no way that would happen.

3 A film crew flew out from New York to Las Vegas (my home) and we began our shoot for the day. It was a lot of fun and I knew that it would be really amazing for my business. And it was. I had no idea. The minute the piece broke I had people subscribing to my list every second-literally. It was awesome. This is why I created my other program called how to Pitch The Media Like A Pro.

4 That was the beginning of my list. I still wasnʼt sure if it would help my business or what would be next. I can assure you that it did help my business and building or increasing your list will help you also. Please donʼt think that national media is the only way to build a list. That is one way and itʼs pretty easy by the way. In my List Building Empire Iʼm covering that and so much more. After my list started to grow I sent out weekly newsletters filled with tips and helpful information. It was so rewarding. Many were asking for tips for their business so I created my first monthly coaching program. I sent out a few s to my list announcing a sale. By pressing the send button thousands of dollars came rolling in. That is when I knew that list building was an amazing gift to any business.

5 I also discovered that even when your list is small you can still make money online. And you may be shocked to learn that dollar amount could be in the thousands. Just remember though that even though youʼll make great money (depending on your efforts) that people are not dollars. They trust you. They appreciate you. They value you. Make sure you always value them and youʼll have a wonderful list of not only customers but friends. Iʼm going to be sharing a few strategies to help you build your list. Before I do itʼs important that you understand that you donʼt have to do every single one. I also want you to know that this is your journey. So live it how youʼd like. Iʼm sharing some ideas and who knows where they will lead for you. The most important thing you must do is take action! Are you ready? Ok Letʼs start building your list.

6 3 Keys Every Blog Needs To Attract Subscribers I love Wordpress and thatʼs what I would recommend for creating your blog. 1. An amazing offer that they canʼt resist. Itʼs not enough for a free chapter any longer. Think of something that has great value and offer that. 2. An opt in on each page of your blog. Pop ups are great also. You can see my opt ins on and 3. Write a blog post focusing on your ideal client you are trying to reach. I know you will say you are trying to reach many people but Iʼd like you to focus on one person. If you write a post about list building then think of everything that person would come to your post to read. At the bottom add a call to action. 7 Video Marketing This is very easy. Create a video using your powerpoint or you can stand in front of the camera. Share some valuable tips that you know your audience will love. Tell them youʼre going to share 8 powerful tips and they wonʼt believe the last one. After 5 tips tell them that in order to receive the last 3 opt in below and you canʼt wait to send them to them. You can also create a video with almost any topic that applies to the type of client you are looking to attract. Include your opt in link in the description box of the video. This is what I did with Pitch The Media Like A Pro (when you view on Youtube) Infographics / Top Lists There are plenty of people that you can hire to create a graphic. But you can create an info graphic or a contest list of the Top 100 most powerful social networkers, or bloggers. Either way youʼll build a top 100 list. Then you each of those and congratulate them. If itʼs an infographic many times they will

8 add it to their site. We are creatures who like to be featured I suppose it appeals to our ego. But when someone clicks the infographic it can take them straight back to your opt in page. Squeeze Pages

9 A squeeze page has one directive: Get your prospects address in exchange for valuable information that you provide. Itʼs a simple one page format with either a video, or a free report and asks for the in exchange for the freebie. Optimize press has some great squeeze pages so check that out as an option. Add Your Opt In Link To Social Media Profiles On Twitter or Facebook post your opt in page in addition to your website. Many times you can just post the link to your page and get additional subscribers like that. You should add your optin to your Facebook Page you can how mine is loaded on my tabs here listed as weekly tips. You should add this link everywhere.

10 Guest Posting Guest posting on high traffic blogs is a great way to add new subscribers to your list. Ask them if you can include your bio. Most sites will let you do that. When you add your website link also say, If youʼd like free weekly blog tips (or whatever your topic is) then use that anchor text to link to your opt in page. Use Plugins Optin Skin is a great plugin that you can use with your blog. You can create new designs and customize this tool anyway you like.

11 Create An Opt In ECourse Then Create A Custom Page On Your Blog You can use this page as a tab on any blog and you can also use this as a squeeze page. Iʼve used it for both. So you can view my example here. Create Affiliate Marketing Opportunities Not only is affiliate marketing great for your sales but itʼs an amazing way to bring new subscribers to your list. Partner with those in similar niches but who do not compete with you directly. Then you can create a seminar, webinar, or other product that they can share with their list. Or you can present the webinar and split everything 50/50 when itʼs over.

12 Exchange Your Service For Promotion To Their List Find internet marketers with a larger list. Then offer to exchange a service you can do if they promote your opt in to their list. You can help them write posts, do SEO, audio/ video or anything a list owner in your industry can use (with a skill set you possess). You can find these lists owners on social media (I love Twitter and LinkedIN) Forums are are a great place to look too. Jv Giveaways Basically, a JV giveaway is an event set up by several bloggers / marketers who build each other s lists through leveraging their own lists and social networks. Each participating member submits one or more freebies that lead to their squeeze pages. Then they each agree to send s to their lists and promote the event via their social networks, blogs, s or other methods to bring in as big of a crowd as possible. 13 With a good product, it s possible to generate hundreds or thousands of new subscribers per giveaway. Facebook Ads Facebook ads are a great way to increase your subscribers. Freebies do well on Facebook so be sure to create a great offer and then your squeeze page. Send people to your page and watch for the opt ins. You can learn more by paying attention to ads you see off to the sides especially if they make you want to click them. Create Your Own Product A great way to build your list is by creating your own product. It could be a product like this one you are reading now, it could be an ebook, it could be a report, it could be your own plugin or even cd series. Regardless if you create a product and ask people to opt in they will. And that will add many new subscribers to your list. If you donʼt want to create your own thatʼs Ok you can

14 use one of mine. Visit or and click on affiliates. SmartPhone App Living Social uses apps to build their subscribers. There are plenty of app developers who would like to create an app for you. Just do a little research and you can create an app that would appeal to your ideal client and ask them to opt in for the free version. In Person & QR Code With everything we do via the web sometimes we forget to get out and network in person. This can be a huge list building exercise for your business. When you speak at events, or go to a networking event, pass out your business card. Make sure you have a QR code on your card and when they scan theyʼll be taken straight to your opt in form. 15 National Media Exposure You may think that you canʼt get media exposure especially if you are just starting out with your business. I tell you that you can get some amazing exposure.
